45. And today's topic, I'm going to say that we're going to look at what we should know about the
46. dis of cancer And our guest today is Leigh Erin Connolly MD She is Medical Director of the Center for New Medicine and Cancer Center for Healing So normally I would talk a little bit about the quote but I going to maybe do that more at the
47. end because of time restrictions. Dr. Conley is really busy, so I want to get right to
48. chatting with her. Her bio, of course, is Lee Erin Conley, MD, is a prominent leader in the
49. integrative and functional medicine field with over 30 years of experience,
50. taking the best of all sciences, including homeopathic and conventional treatments for
51. cancer, chronic illness, nutrition, and lifestyle approach. She is the medical director of two
52. amazing clinics located in Irvine, California, the Center for New Medicine and Cancer Center
53. for healing. The combined clinics have become the largest integrative medicine clinic in North
54. America and are visited by patients from all over the world, with 47,000 patients and growing.
55. All right, I will leave it right there. And I'd like to say, welcome to the Expansion Zone.
56. Well, thank you so much for having me. It's just great to be part of your journey today
57. and your guest journey. All right. Well, thank you. Now, I guess we can, I read a little bit
58. about your bio. Having done this before, you've done this many times, where would you like to
59. begin? Because you are an expert in this area, in this field, and we won't go back to, you know,
60. what caused you to go into this part of medicine, but where would you like to begin with sharing?
61. Yeah, well, I think what we have to really understand is, you know, we I am a medical doctor.
62. So I went to conventional Western medical training, which is what's excellent and very powerful information for me to learn and know what I do.
63. So I want people to know because a lot of people go, you know, look, I'm going to the doctor.
64. I want to make sure they're a medical doctor and because they want to make sure they're getting the proper information and the proper care and diagnosis and treatment.
65. And so, you know, the treatment of patients 100 years ago was actually all natural.
66. All right. It was all natural treatments, whether it was homeopathy, whether it was herbs, whether it was special potions, lotions that doctors made in their office.
67. the first drug came out in the 30s with penicillin it was a patent to pull drug and that
68. revolutionized and changed the course of medicine so then after penicillin there's been many
69. medications and so we've gotten into this paradigm as a pill for every ill to treat
70. patients okay unfortunately the body and mind and spirit are way more complicated than popping a
71. pill for every ill. And so we now have reached the point of no return in conventional Western
72. medicine for chronic illnesses. We are stars at emergency medicine, people who have an accident,
73. people who have a heart attack. I mean, we are just amazing in the United States.
74. But for chronic illnesses, and 60% of the population today is suffering from a chronic
75. illness and that's just not adults, that's children also. So 60% of the population is
76. taking medication and dealing with a chronic illness day in and day out But unfortunately the United States of America as great as it is we ranking 43rd in the world in health care We spend twice as much as any other country worldwide and we still are sick with disease
77. So we have to say, OK, this paradigm and delivery of health care is not working for people.
78. Because why, as you said, is we're not esteeming that health is our treasure.
79. Health is our wealth.
80. And that's a cultural thing.
81. We should be teaching people about health as before, like even before a woman gets pregnant,
82. is let's talk about your intentions of this pregnancy.
83. let's talk about how I can be the healthiest, you know, vessel to have this new miracle in my life.
84. All right. And so we should be we should be focusing on pre-pregnancy planning all the way to someone who's 100 years of age.
85. and about that health is your number one value that we should have because without health,
86. we're not happy with ourselves every day. We're not good partners. We're not good employees.
87. We're not good, healthy people of the community. And so we have disintegration of the community
88. if we all are not trying to go there. All right.
89. Can I ask you a really quick question? Based on what you said, what is it about people, though? Is it just modern day people that don't have this curiosity? Some people do.
90. but is there a point where there's some responsibility on people to want to take
91. responsibility for their bodies or is it how we've been conditioned to that somebody else
92. is going to be responsible for us just overall i think the latter we've been conditioned and we've
93. been programmed with average u.s and new zealand are the two only two countries in the world that
94. advertise. So we're constantly pushed with a commercial or something in a periodic or in a
95. magazine, okay, take this drug and it's going to solve your tardive dyskinesia, your whatever
96. issue you may have. And now they've created new issues, new diagnosis, okay, overactive bladder,
97. constipation induced with opiates, I mean, on and on and on. Okay. And so, so it's a conditioning
98. that's had like, if you grew up, see, I had the privilege, Sonia, of growing up with my mother
99. nursing us for one year. She never used a jar of baby food. I ate liver, I ate sauerkraut. I ate,
100. you know, foods just at home. I didn't we didn't go out. We didn't have first of all,
101. there wasn't a lot of McDonald's when I was growing up. Yeah, there wasn't fast food. But
102. My mom cooked everything at home.
103. We had breakfast at home.
104. There were six kids, so we couldn't go out because they'd kick us out because we were rowdy.
105. So we ate at home, but my mother cooked all the meals.
106. We had our own cows, and so we had meat.
107. So quality of the food also.
108. Yes, the quality of the food was significantly better.
109. Now we have this manufactured processed dead inert food today available for humans We are energetic beings Our body works because of energy Okay where do we get the energy the vital life force We get that from the food we
110. eat. So if we eat dead, devoid food, we're not going to have energy. All right. And so we are
111. now eating all these packaged, chemicalized foods, the amount of chemicals in the environment,
112. the pollution, I would say is our number one problem. So the air we breathe, the water we
113. drink, the food we eat, and the things that we put on our skin have all potential toxicity.
114. And so our bodies can't even possibly work with the traffic jam that we are creating
115. day in and day out. And so we are, but we're not made aware of this, Sonia. We're not made aware.
116. For example, and recently I just read a study in every breast milk studied, they found something
117. called forever chemicals. They're called forever chemicals because they don't biodegrade in our
118. body. They stay in there forever. The other thing is they found in every jar of baby food,
119. even organic heavy metals, well, and heavy metals, mercury, lead, aluminum,
120. arsenic, all of those interfere with basic DNA replication. So, so if it's in every jar of baby
121. food and every breast milk, that means it's in all of us. All right. And now we know, Sonia,
122. that one chemical, for example, plastics cause cancer and hormone interruption and all kinds of,
123. you know, gumming of the membranes, that that's just one chemical, but we have hundreds of
124. chemicals residing in our bodies and our bodies are percolating with this toxicity. So how are
125. we going to even going to work every day? Okay, meaning how's everybody going to function every
126. day? So, and these are basic principles that I am teaching my patients is the art of self-care,
127. Because like you said, you can do this yourself, but because of the constant information of, you know, whatever, donuts and, you know, fake food, then the patients are not hearing the right messages they need to hear to restore their health.
128. Absolutely.
129. And then when you mentioned the pollution, you mentioned the air.
130. But also, if we do have all of these chemicals and metals in our bodies, and we're eating
131. food that is depleted, that is dead, the body cannot fight even what's in the air.
132. I mean, you know what I'm, which is what you're saying.
133. So if we're eating the highest quality of foods, and we are taking care of ourselves,
134. we stand a better chance of being able to respond, right, to some of these toxicities then
135. in our environment that we might not be able to control, but we can control what we eat.
136. Yes, we can control. First of all, we can control our lifestyle. What is our lifestyle? Because we
137. know that diseases are caused from what we eat, our lifestyle, and our environment. So every doctor
138. practicing medicine today should be dealing with your eating and then teaching you how to eat.
139. Number two, lifestyle. What is our lifestyle? Our lifestyle is how we live 24 hours a day.
140. How is our sleep? What kind of water? And what's the quality of our water? What are we eating?
141. Are we moving every day?
142. How are we handling stress every day?
143. That's our lifestyle.
144. What does your body look like 24 hours a day?
145. Are you getting sunshine every day?
146. And then there is the environment,
147. which is the toxicity that I am talking about.
148. But so much of this just needs to be taught
149. and really downloaded to every single person.
150. And we as a community can live harmoniously and help each other be the best we can be, Sonia.
151. Absolutely.
152. Because all of what you're talking about and when you mentioned health is really at the top of the list of everything, we see how that trickles down even into mental health issues.
153. So we have this massive soup that we're all part of and everybody's swimming around in it with very few people understanding where to even begin.
154. Right. And then, Sonia, they go to their doctor, but their doctor doesn't talk to them about this.
155. I will tell you that almost every cancer patient that I see, they say their oncologist says that what you eat doesn't matter.
156. Now, I have never read a book, probably the most written books are on food, right?
157. I have never read a book that says you can eat whatever you want.
158. So we know that sugar feeds cancer.
159. Okay, we know that it's in the literature.
160. It's that's how we get a PET scan.
161. When you get a PET scan, the cancer cells eat up sugar.
162. So obviously, and more scientifically, you have something called insulin-like growth
163. factors in the body that are part of the growth factors of the cancer.
164. So this is a very serious thing.
165. And sugar is in everything too.
166. Yeah.
167. And sugar we know is toxic, depresses the immune system, et cetera.
168. That's why we have so much insulin resistance and diabetes.
169. They said from the year 2000, one out of three children born today are getting diabetes.
170. Why are we all not taking a stand to preserve humanity and the human race?
171. Absolutely.
172. And again, shows like this for me is really helping those people who are maybe also complacent, even though this audience is pretty open, but complacent in the things that they're doing or listening to the media all the time and then being so pumped up with fear.
173. But then what are you actually doing for yourself?
174. You know, so Sunshine Movement, all of these things are so simple.
175. They really don't cost much.
176. Yeah, they don't cause anything. But we need to be able to begin to make these things happen.
177. Now, when you mentioned mothers and breast milk, one of the things that I've heard and I might have seen that is when is mothers who pump breast milk and also this microwave with microwaving, warming up milk.
178. doesn't that kill right well yeah it destroys and depletes the nutrients so no mother should ever
179. microwave the breast milk okay they can warm it up in a warmer but or more importantly as soon as
180. they do the breast milk use it right away and make it room temperature they can sit it out in room
181. temperature I know I I nursed all my kids now and also I worked at the time so I had to pump my
182. breast but I never ever used a microwave I don even own a microwave in my house more importantly because we know it destroys microwave radiation is not healthy for the body and it denatures and deactivates the nutrients okay so we know that these things are it not it not a
183. good way to go you can easily warm up in a stainless steel or glass pan with a little water
184. warm things up in almost the same amount of time so we we need to be mindful and conscious
185. of everything we're doing and how we're living our life.
186. And that's why I'm constantly on Instagram and TikTok,
187. you know, really creating an awareness and consciousness
188. of what we're doing every single day.
189. And yeah, no, no, no, I'm agreeing with you.
190. And get away from, I'm going to use that word, the laziness,
191. because I think what's promoted here is instantaneous, instantaneous.
192. And so people have gotten away from everything. It's just takes too long. Oh, I don't want to eat the grapes with the seeds because I just put the seeds out. I mean, this this bizarre conditioning is what's leading us, you know, where we are. So it's a lot of that going on. Taking the time to just care for yourself.
193. that's it's right yes care for yourself exactly love yourself really talk to yourself that i am
194. deserving and worthy of having and owning a healthy body now i want to also say real quickly
195. to that um how i found out about dr cannelli is i had and some of you remember um oh gosh
196. Cell Sonic. I had a guest on, a professor. Andrew Haig. Andrew Haig. Right. And so he was talking
197. and I asked, well, you know, where can we find some of this kind of therapy? And then he mentioned
198. you. So what I did, which my audience knows, I like to be truthful with my audience. So I do,
199. Do I investigate everything and everybody that I introduced to my audience?
200. So I did go out of my way.
201. I did.
202. I booked an appointment and I went to the center and I met with Dr.
203. Keneally and I went through my own examination with her and everything.
204. And I came back and talked about how it's just an amazing place.
205. I can't even describe it, but I just want everybody to know.
206. I went, yes, I spent money on myself because I wanted to know how all of that, all of her center works.
207. I didn't try everything, obviously, but I met with her.
208. So I just wanted to share that by the time the show is over to give people that information.
209. She is every bit of, I am telling you, the center, everything.
210. It's you got to be able to go there.
211. Yeah.
212. And it's funny, Sonia, you say that.
213. So how did I learn all these things over the last 34 years?
214. I did exactly what you did.
215. I go to the expert of every single thing that I know about and I go and visit them, whether it's Germany, whether it's Texas, whatever conference, everything.
216. I'm trying to create the most innovative, invincible solutions to help my patients out there.
217. And because, you know, we like you said earlier, we're all looking for this quick fix, instant
218. gratification.
219. But I tell people in 64 years of my life, I've never seen anything simple.
220. And I also had my own health interruptions that people can read and research and why I what more you know directed me into a unconventional path And so and I tell people you know it interesting I interviewed a new doctor to come work
221. and she is the head of a hospital in Northern California.
222. And she went to, she wanted to learn more about medicine.
223. So she went and took courses in integrative functional medicine.
224. And so she said, once you learn this stuff, Sonia, she goes, I can't unlearn this now.
225. So I have got to not, I can't stay in the conventional because it go against my belief systems.
226. And now the new medicine I have learned.
227. And so people just have to understand that there is nothing, absolutely nothing simple about the human body.
228. There's trillions of cells.
229. there's a lot going on with the biophysical biochemical bioenergetic facets of our body
230. and more importantly we none of us are living in a petri dish so we're we've we've developed this
231. highly industrialized technical world but we haven't said how is this affecting me how is
232. pollution in the air affecting me how is the water i'm drinking in popular mechanics they had a big
233. article on pharma water, meaning all the pharmaceuticals that are in the water, not to mention the parasites
234. that are in the water, not to mention the chemicals, the xenoestrogens, forever chemicals,
235. insecticides, pesticides, etc. What about all the Wi-Fi and all the EMFs? We're bombarded.
236. Yeah, we're bombarded every single day. But we should all be taking a step back. How is this
237. affecting us. And I will tell you that we are not a well nation. Okay. And we should all be saying,
238. stop and listen. What is going on? Like autism rates. Okay. When I went to medical school,
239. you barely learned anything. Well, now there's libraries on autism. And if you look at the
240. people who specialize in autism, I don't, but if you look at their statistics, one person will say
241. it's one in 40, one in 37, but it is way, way, way too high. So we should, cancer is one in two
242. people. Heart disease is still high. Heart disease and cancer are the top two killers,
243. but why haven't we regressed this? Why haven't we prevented this? Why haven't we devised-
244. Normalized. People have normalized these things. That's why.
245. Yes. And you're right. It's the new norm. It can't be the new norm is sick, ill people.
246. Yeah, that's really the norm with people now. Because I know we've got time restrictions here.
247. In terms of cancer, would you tell us some of the misconceptions that people have? That's one of the
248. things I think we need to look at. There's a lot of misconceptions. Yes. And then there's a
249. tremendous amount of fear around it. But what can you tell us for somebody listening today,
250. that's probably doing all the things, the formula to make this happen in their bodies,
251. but they think that they're not. Right. Well, first of all, people think that you just wake
252. up and have cancer. And that is just not true. Cancer starts with one abnormal cell that has
253. certain characteristics and they're immortal. Immortal meaning they never die.
254. Okay.
255. So everyone has the ability to develop cancer in the
256. right condition. In fact, all of us make cancer cells every day,
257. but we have this amazing immune system.
258. If we take care of it and nourish it and support it that takes care of those cancer cells But when that imbalance is out of whack for example there too many cells in the immune system can handle
259. the thousands and thousands of cells. And if we have the right condition, which is what you're
260. eating, acidity, low oxygen, et cetera, and stress, then we have the right conditions to develop
261. cancer. So cancer starts with one abnormal cell, we don't see a lump or bump for eight to 10 years.
262. So that means that we can prevent cancer and most people with assessing them with the right test,
263. the right exams, we can tell if patients that's that information is available. If you read my
264. book, Cancer Revolution, it talks about this. I personally got interested in this because
265. my mother in the 50s took DES that caused cancer in male and female offspring. So that's how I got
266. interested in how do I prevent cancer in myself. All right. And so it led me on a discovery journey
267. to figure out all these things, which I am constantly evolving and changing because new
268. studies, new information, new conferences come out. Oh, I have a great new idea. I have a new
269. thing. Constantly, I'm trying to create new things for patients because the conventional treatment
270. of surgery, chemo and radiation, Nixon declared war on cancer in 1972, cancer rates are only
271. higher. There are one in two people about, okay? And so we can't just attack cancer. We have to say,
272. what is the condition of the body that you developed cancer in the first place? So why
273. do people develop cancer? Well, first of all, their food. People are eating dead sugary food
274. and toxic food. Number two, we are stressed beyond the max, okay? And we are not taking measures with
275. meditation, deep breathing, just simple little things that you can do at home on a daily basis.
276. We can only change, we can't change all the circumstances. So we have to be logical and say,
277. okay, this worry and hurry isn't going to help my life. I've got to, I've got to learn how to
278. manage that. And it's not something that happens overnight. I started working on my emotional,
279. spiritual self when I got a divorce 20, 30 years, well, about 30 years, 29 years ago. Okay. And it's
280. been a journey though. I have done this and I've done that and I've had this coach and I've done
281. Evox. And I, you know, I've done all these different things to implement it in my own self,
282. because what human being doesn't have stress? I don't know any. And we're finding that early
283. trauma, whether in utero, or in the first five, six years of your life, is the traumatic event
284. that is inciting the condition of us each and every day. Now, who doesn't have trauma and drama?
285. They're everyone. Life is full of detours and life is messy. But we've got to learn how to return that mess into a blessing. All right. Because you can't. I followed Thich Nhat Hanh years ago and he taught people how to turn negative seeds into positive seeds.
286. Like a lot of people say cancer is the answer to your life.
287. Why?
288. Because cancer developed in the right conditions that I'm talking about.
289. Stress,
290. sugar,
291. acidity,
292. toxicity,
293. deficiencies.
294. So all these things.
295. So when you go to a doctor,
296. okay,
297. A doctor should be analyzing why, where, when, and how did this happen?
298. It's a holistic approach they need to take.
299. Just to do surgery, first of all, does surgery get rid of all cancer?
300. No, because can the doctor see microscopic cancer cells?
301. Chemotherapy.
302. Chemotherapy can be beneficial to shrink tumor burden anatomically,
303. because if you've got a big mass, it's causing the organ not to work.
304. So chemotherapy, but low dose is probably better than high dose because we know chemotherapy destroys every cell in the body.
305. More importantly, there are cells that are chemosensitive and chemoresistant, Sonia, at the same time, meaning some of the cells are being killed and some are not.
306. So if you don't change the condition of yourself, you've got to have those cancer fighting abilities in place for the cells that don't respond to chemo.
307. That goes the same for radiation.
308. Radiation, first of all, is cancer causing.
309. Chemo is cancer causing.
310. So what are you doing to counterbalance the collateral damage when you're getting surgery, chemo and radiation?
311. So radiation also has the cells that are resistant and the cells that are susceptible to radiation.
312. But not to mention taking care of the patient while they undergo surgery.
313. We should be doing preparation for the surgery for each patient mentally, emotionally, and physically.
314. And I say mentally, emotionally, because surgery is a very big deal.
315. It's trauma to the body.
316. The diagnosis of cancer is very dramatic and traumatic to the body.
317. So why aren't we preparing every patient with the right nutrition, the right emotional support, and all the necessary nutrients, maybe hyperbaric oxygen, maybe an IV vitamin C before the surgery.
318. That's the way what I do.
319. And I've had 18 hours of back surgery.
320. I've had surgeries before.
321. So I'm very familiar with what we need to do to prepare the body.
322. If you're going to do chemo, for example, one of my patients came in yesterday.
323. She's doing chemotherapy on her choice at UCLA, but she's coming here two days a week and she has not one symptom of chemotherapy.
324. And her doctor at UCLA, who's very supportive of the integrative functional medicine treatments.
325. She says, I can't believe how well you're doing because you're not my other patients are not doing that well when they get these particular chemo agents.
326. So this is the problem and the deficiency. So we can't declare war on cancer.
327. We have to say, how do we support an environment that's anti-cancer in every single way?
328. like I said with the food the lifestyle the environment why we should be detoxing at the
329. same time and unfortunately once you're diagnosed with cancer with a lump or bump or right upper
330. quadrant pain or a headache I always ask my patients what's their first symptom because
331. unfortunately people are diagnosed too late we have early detection methodology with the blood
332. work that we do with circulating tumor cells. Circulating tumor cells are used for early
333. detection That available And that not new It old I mean I use a lab that been around over 15 years They happen to be the best in the world For example I had a patient do a heart scan Sonia I do a heart scan to see if there calcification
334. It's a quick five minute test that tells you, do you have calcifications in your arteries?
335. Well, if you have calcifications, that means you are creating heart blockages.
336. So they found a little lung nodule.
337. Okay.
338. Well, a lot of people have lung nodules.
339. Why?
340. Because of a lot of pollution.
341. everything goes through in our lungs. And so anyway, I said, you know what, I better do this
342. circulating tumor cell test just to make sure that lung nodule is not a problem. It's not
343. pathological. So I did and sure enough, in the last month, I found two patients with early lung
344. cancer. Okay, well, lung cancer is one of the most difficult cancers to treat. Now I did send her to
345. a pulmonologist just to get his or her expert consultation and opinion. And they both said,
346. oh, don't worry about it. It's no big deal. Well, no, we have to verify, Sonia, that it isn't a big
347. deal because we've got to prevent people from having an issue. I'll tell you another example.
348. I had a patient with Kaiser. She's 55 years of age. She has cholangiocarcinoma, cancer of the
349. Gallbladder, very difficult cancer to treat.
350. Most cancers are difficult to treat, all right?
351. And everybody's cancer, I need to make this clear,
352. everybody's cancer, no matter the pathology,
353. they are not the same.
354. Every cancer cell and every single patient
355. is unique to them.
356. That's why there can't be one size fits all
357. of surgery, chemo, and radiation,
358. because everybody doesn't fit into that.
359. Your fingerprint is as unique as every cell in your body.
360. Every cell in your body has its own fingerprint.
361. But when you talk about cancer cells, they are what we call biodiverse, heterogeneous.
362. Every layer is different than the next layer.
363. That's why people always want to know about clinical studies.
364. I go, you are your own clinical study because no one is like you.
365. All right. And your uniqueness of the mutations of the cancer, not of you, the mutations are unique to you.
366. But so let's go back to the cholangiocarcinoma.
367. Can we do one thing? I want to pick that up, but we just need to take a really quick break and then we'll be right back.

378. and we are back of course you tuned in to KPFK 90 FM in Southern California and streaming live at KPFK org you are tuned into the expansion zone with Sonia Barrett That me And we are listening to my guest Dr Keneally And I am
379. going to be quiet right now because we only have so much time left to chat with her. Anyway, go ahead.
380. Yeah. So anyway, so I always ask my patients, you know, like, what was your first symptom?
381. because one, it teaches me about the human body. And number two, it tells me like, okay,
382. what do we really need to pay attention to? So I had this patient just last week,
383. and she had cholangiocarcinoma, which is cancer of the gallbladder. And so she had gone into
384. the emergency room several months, like six months before was sweating, heart rate,
385. you know, out of control, tachycardia, which is elevated heart rate, and she was having
386. just chest pain. And so of course, they thinking heart attack. So of course, they go, okay, no,
387. you don't have a heart attack. But no other testing was done, because they were just focused
388. on the heart attack. Okay, well, we can have their, you know, first of all, this holistic system,
389. just because you have a symptom of elevated heart rate doesn't mean it's necessarily connected to
390. the heart, it may be you're stressed. It may be that you have magnesium deficiency. Okay. It may
391. mean that there is something going on in the abdominal cavity because the heart is connected
392. to your spleen right here, your liver, gallbladder, and pancreas right there. So there may be sending
393. abnormal signals. So, but if a patient goes into the emergency room, it's a sign and symptom that
394. is something wrong with the whole process from head to toe. Instead of this narrow view. Yeah,
395. exactly. So we should have sent her to her primary care and the primary care should have done a
396. thorough workup. This is abnormal. Why did this happen? Instead of just dismissing the patient
397. and saying she's okay. Well, now she has stage four cholangiocarcinoma, which could probably
398. have been, you know, avoided. And so this is why I say prevention is priceless for all diseases.
399. Okay. And we need to be focused on prevention and early detection so that we can restore the
400. health of every human on the planet. So now just to go back, please tell us some of the
401. technologies, the machines that you have there, right? You're able to, you already stated that
402. you are able to detect to assist with detecting. So, so whatever else you want to share in terms
403. of some of these technologies that you have. Okay. So a couple of things. One, when a patient
404. comes in, what's the experience like? First of all, I want to get to know the patient. I do an
405. elaborate, very elaborate blood work. Conventionally people do a chemistry, cholesterol and a CBC.
406. No, we need to check their inflammation levels, their vitamin D levels, their hemoglobin A1C levels.
407. If cancer patients, I check for D-dimer because 60% of patients who have cancer are predisposed to a clot.
408. So if we aren't addressing that, the patient has high degree of developing a clot, which is what we don't want to have.
409. And then there's the circulating tumor cell test.
410. So there's a whole array.
411. I do nutritional testing called the NutriVal to look at the biochemistry of the body.
412. So every patient will get a good, good comprehensive blood work that may help me detect things that are imbalances and then maybe the environment for cancer.
413. Now as far as technology we do OK so we have specialty IVs everything from IV mistletoe to seed to IV curcumin IV artesanate
414. which is very anti-cancer.
415. All these IVs, whether it's for brain restoration, cancer, or any other disease process.
416. Okay.
417. Then we have lymphatic therapy.
418. Lymphatic, your lymph system is four times greater than your blood system.
419. So everybody, because of toxicity, has lymphatic congestion and it creates chronic inflammation.
420. We have hyperbaric because cancer patients have a tendency to be an anaerobic environment.
421. Anaerobic means low oxygen.
422. Dr. Otto Warburg got a Nobel Prize that cancer is without oxygen, acidic and sugary.
423. So we have to change that environment.
424. So we give our patients hyperbaric, not just for cancer, but healing.
425. Maybe they had a fall.
426. Maybe they had surgery.
427. All different reasons.
428. There's lots of clinical conditions that hyperbaric is very helpful.
429. It heals everything to the smallest wound to the biggest one.
430. Then we have PMF.
431. PMF, pulsed electromagnetic field.
432. What we do is that you lay on a mat or we put it on an organ because it restores the energy, the voltage.
433. Cancer patients have very low voltage.
434. So we want to resurrect the voltage and the energy of every cell.
435. Well, there's over 1,000 PubMed studies on PMF, okay?
436. So we do that.
437. And our patients can even have, if they're really sick, I send them home on a PMF mat.
438. Not the industrial one that I have, but one that they can do at home.
439. Then we have red light therapy.
440. Well, red light's been studied for years.
441. There's lots of, probably over 30,000 studies.
442. that resurrects the ATP, the energy of the mitochondria. We have mitochondria that reside
443. in every cell in our body. And that provides ATP, the currency of life. That's how your body has
444. energy. You know, when you do an EEG and their brain did, that means there's no energy. So our
445. body is full of energy. If you take a EKG of our heart, that's checking the energy and the
446. electrical activity of the heart. So that brings me to another thing, we do something called the
447. acupuncture meridian assessment, you have acupuncture points on your fingers and toes
448. that correspond to every organ in your body, you have hundreds of points, but we take 50 points,
449. and we detect the energy flowing through any one of those systems. That means there's an
450. interference. And I always tell people, energy precedes action. So something happens if I throw
451. a baseball into a window, a lot of energy took place before it crashes into the window. And so
452. we've got to detect energetic imbalances before something serious happens. So that helps me detect
453. toxicity, parasites, candida. It tells me features of cancer imbalances. So then we do
454. something called EVOX. EVOX is using resolving emotional conflict and emotional trauma.
455. That is nothing new in our practice, but I would say in the last probably 10 years,
456. because the first time I did it, when I had a traumatic delivery of my twins 26 and a half
457. years ago, it was very traumatic. So I had to resolve that emotional trauma. So that was the
458. first time I did e-box and then I've done e-box after that because we all have little detours
459. in our life that we need a little boot you know a little you know reboot okay
460. And let's see, what else do we do in our clinic?
461. We do something called aquacure, which is hydrogen therapy.
462. So hydrin is the molecule that neutralizes all the toxicity in our body.
463. It's actually synergistic with chemo.
464. So we have the patients breathe it in into their lungs.
465. When you breathe things in your lungs, it goes all over your body.
466. So it's a phenomenal adjunct to patients getting chemotherapy,
467. but also to help quickly remove toxicity.
468. Then we have something called the nanobath.
469. The nanobath is a bath.
470. It looks like a regular bathtub,
471. but what it is, it's nanobubbles of oxygen going to your tissues.
472. So that helps your body clean up very quickly.
473. It also helps oxygen is the number one thing we need to stay alive, right?
474. So if we don't have oxygen, we don't have functionality of our body, right?
475. then um we do have some we have something um that's called bio sound so we have the patient
476. lay on a vibratory mat then they look there it's visual we look at something that's very peaceful
477. and then we have sound therapy in there in our in our ears so these things help calm and relax
478. the body we know that different kinds of music visualization techniques imagery helps our body
479. gets the cells in the right direction. Then you mentioned about cell sonic. So cell sonic was a
480. device that you had Andrew Haig, everybody should listen. Andrew is phenomenal at what he knows.
481. He's a phenomenal person to know. He's very passionate about what he does. So we've used
482. sound therapy. If you go on TED Talks, you can find sound therapy for healing. Okay, there's lots
483. of talks on sound therapy healing. There's all kinds, there's music, and then there's something
484. called cell sonic. So cell sonic and conventional medicine has been used to break up kidney stones
485. for years. They're actually using sound therapy actually for prostate cancer called HIFU, high
486. intensity frequency ultrasound. So these are high pressured sound waves that change the electrical
487. activity of a cell. I use it also, when I had my surgery two years ago, I used it to accelerate my
488. healing plant. I used a lot of hyperbaric and some therapy to accelerate the healing of an 18 hour
489. surgery. So those are some of the top things that we do. And we customize, obviously we do
490. nutritional, uh, always we're teaching our patients how to eat or how to think and how to live and how
491. to master the art of self-care. Oh, I know that we're there now on time. So can you give us your,

501. breast cancer after skin cancer is the number one cancer in humans today It used to be lung cancer now it breast cancer Right So we need to talk about that because these are things that they normalizing and marketing That the way I see it anyway So all right Well I thank you so much for being

507. telling you, I just really, I really have a respect for her in terms of her work, what she does,
508. her passion, all of that. And so she had to go because she had another, well, she has patients
509. to see. And she's going to do all of what she's talked about for someone or several people. And
510. it's on a daily basis. The clinic is absolutely fabulous. Just, you know, in the feel of it and
511. the way it looks, all of that. And it's not just, you know, if you have cancer, we're just,
512. we're talking just if you overall, I mean, I'm healthy, but I wanted to see what they had to
513. offer, what the center really had to offer. And so I engaged. The other thing, so I wanted to say,
514. because obviously in this interview, it was clear that promoting, once again, self-care and the need
515. to be interested enough to invest the time in caring for ourselves is so incredibly crucial.
516. We can spend a lot of time, and many people do, staying on the outside of ourselves. And what do
517. I mean by that? I mean that we spend time being more engaged in fear and in what we're being told
518. as opposed to really looking at what we can do for ourselves. This is not about hiding from
519. a potential disease because I think some people feel that way. It's like, if I could just avoid,
520. This is it's not about that kind of avoidance, but it's about how we're caring for ourselves just all day long.
521. What are you doing for yourself?
522. How are you treating yourself?
523. As she said, you know, what is your lifestyle like?
524. What are you eating?
525. You know, are you happy?
526. Are you sad?
527. What is your environment like? Because thoughts and stress, all of those things create a really acid environment in the body. So it's not just the food, but it's the thoughts, the belief systems, the fear, all of those things cause the body to have a more acid response.
528. and you add sugar and toxicity from the kinds of foods that we're eating.
529. And then that really not just not only exasperates the situation,
530. but it causes certain things to begin to grow.
531. Like we have candida overgrowth where if you have a lot of sugar,
532. you taking in a lot of sugar and even stress that can happen where you suddenly have this overgrowth And then that can become something else So things can be avoided in a different way I don mean
533. avoid where we hide and we just try to pretend that it's not there, but we actually really look
534. at how we're living, what's the lifestyle like. And the quote that I read earlier,
535. health is the most valuable and most easily lost treasure, yet it is the most poorly kept.
536. That is a powerful quote written, I mean, that was done a long time ago because it's true. Health is
537. the heart and soul of really our ability to experience life in a more joyous way,
538. in a more balanced way. We're more clear in our minds when we don't have brain fog.
539. We are able to make more sound choices when we're clearer. So there's a lot of things that can
540. happen for us where depression isn't an issue or the trauma that we're holding onto that eventually
541. can turn into depression or even more extreme emotional conditions, even bipolar conditions.
542. Many of these things, they have their root in the stored traumas in our bodies, things that we
543. can't let go of. And some of these things are really in our subconscious mind. It's not even
544. that they're necessarily at the forefront. But to be able to acknowledge what's going on in our lives
545. at certain times, to be able to allow ourselves to face those things, to be able to see, to open
546. our eyes and not hide from them, we want to see them so that we can know exactly what we need to
547. do to make ourselves well, to maintain being well, and to move ourselves into the most joyous or
548. happiest space possible, not ridiculously, because there is balance. All emotions are
549. essential and they all have a meaning. So it's not a false happiness that we're talking about,
550. but really, truly authentic feelings and allowing ourselves to be authentic.
551. Anyway, all right. That's my little spiel there. And I want to thank you so much. Again,

553. some more of these kinds of topics because they're so necessary. We've normalized too many of these
554. things and we need to understand how the body works so that we can really work in harmony
