21. And you have, this was, I believe it was ABC CNN poll.
22. Javier Becerra, 28%, Tom Steyer, 22%, Steve Hilton, 21%, Chad Bianco, 12%, and Katie Porter, 5%.
23. percent I believe that Steve Hilton he done topped out He topped out now That the Republican vote right there I believe Tom Steyer is probably going to move up some more
24. because now you have the, you know,
25. the people were waiting to see who they were going to support.
26. Are they going to support Javier Becerra
27. or are they going to support Tom Steyer?
28. You have a lot of Democrats and independents
29. who haven't cast their vote,
30. And I think they were doing it as a strategic way because they didn't feel like they want to waste their vote.
31. I voted. I voted two weeks ago.
32. I believe that my choice was Tom Steyer.
33. I'm going to just put it out there. I just think that he's the best candidate.
34. I know I wouldn't vote for Chad or Steve.
35. You know, anybody that's riding with Trump, I ain't riding with you.
36. I'm not I'm not rolling with you like that.
37. It's obvious of everything this guy is doing right now.
38. Just just straight.
39. Just just, you know, this is most bozo is presidency that I've ever seen.
40. Now, I've been on this earth 63 years.
41. And, you know, I'd say I started understanding about the presidency when I was about 16, 17 years old.
42. And I've never seen something just so blatant, disrespectful, cheating, robbing, low down, dirty, thugism.
43. It's out of control, man.

55. You know, people who have been wrongfully accused in prison,
56. and you said for so many years, 28 years in your case,
57. and other people who have been wrongfully accused.
58. Now, people have been talking about on social media and satellite channels, for example,
59. about the flotilla ship who are going from Turkey to go help humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinians.
60. The treatment of the flotilla ship, you know, a ship over here from various countries,
61. they're hitting them with sticks, spinning on them.
62. Some of them have broken bones, sexual abuse.
63. This is, you know, concrete evidence that they've showed.
64. they showed how the treatment of Palestinian prisoners from 1948 up to now,
65. this is, as I said to you last week,
66. this is 78 years of the anniversary of the injustice against Palestine
67. and to Palestinians.
68. So they starve them, they sleep on the cement,
69. like I said, sexual abuse, women and men,
70. similar to Nazi Germany.
71. So this was shown on Democracy Now!
72. and a lot of other shows on KPFK,
73. satellite channels, as I mentioned,
74. And, of course, the mainstream media is not going to cover that because it's going to criticize Zionism and Israel and the pro-Zoel lobby.
75. So the bottom line is we're always to keep it 100 with you and to the listening audience is that we have to call out injustice, evil, bigotry, regardless of who it is.
76. We all know there's good and bad of everyone.
77. And so the thing is that when someone is doing good, we say, okay, we commend them.

108. And to me, I just felt like Chuck Schumer just wanted what Trump wanted and was just telling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, just go along with it.

112. And the radical right trying to take away everything that's already been accomplished.
113. To me, since we're on this topic, this is one of the things I wanted to talk about as far as, you know, me being someone who's black, a black person in this country.
114. I'm sure you know the history of what we had to go through for voting rights and and and to get equal pay and just every equality and all this.
115. And for for for the right to just be so just hell bent on just taking all that away by the swipe of a pen.
116. I don't understand that, you know, and to me, that's a slap in my parents face.

118. that you would come through after these people was bitten by
119. dogs, bricks thrown
120. at them, slashed with
121. water hoses and just all these different
122. things, them Mississippi
123. them people that was hung, the two
124. white men and the black
125. guy that was hung in Mississippi, the fault
126. for us to have these rights and they just come through
127. and say screw everything that you've been
128. through, we're taking away just at the
129. stroke of a pen, that's when I say radical

131. is you wasn't satisfied with the things we accomplished,
132. and you start complaining about not enough icing on the cupcake.

136. Then you have these people say, well, you ain't satisfied with this,
137. and we'll take away that.
138. And then these people over here saying, well, we're not satisfied with this right here,

140. I just like man let just come to a compromise man I think that what I trying to say I don know though Every time we compromise though the people on the streets lose As far as I can tell every time we compromised people on the streets just wound up losing heavy

164. But anyway, I'm trying to think common sense here. And, you know, the there is such a thing as a billionaire who earns his money that way. And then there's such a thing as a billionaire who may have had a deathbed conversion, so to speak. That's all I can figure why I would vote for Tom Steyer. OK, because he made his money the bad way.

182. So I say follow the money. He's promised to give away a half of his wealth, which is a few billion dollars.
183. So but you you you look at these other billionaires.
184. Only thing they do is they want to build.

186. You know, so, yes, you know, it was once upon a time I was considered to be someone who wasn't a desirable person in society.
187. But I turned my life around and I believe he'd done the same thing.
188. So, you know, I mean, you vote for who you want to vote for. I'm not saying for anyone to vote for him or to vote for anyone else.
189. I voted for him for that reason, because I believe he's the best choice to challenge all this madness that's going on.
190. I wish he donated something to KPFK over the last 10 or 15 years, but I don't think so.

246. and it has to do with white supremacists who think they own the coffee shop
247. and we were kicked out of elderly people coming to the coffee shop

250. by these white supremacist bitches
251. And they went and called Allied Universal Services to throw us out of the coffee shop.

319. Why are people calling it a new district when it was just a temporary move?
320. I, listen, the only reason why I supported the redistricting in California, I didn't like that redistricting at all.
321. But Trump started this. He called that governor in Texas and told him he needed five more seats.
322. And instead of the governor saying, no, man, we ain't we ain't we're not going to do this, man, because we only do it every 10 years or however it's done.
323. You know, he went ahead and did it.
324. So Gavin Newsom felt like the response to that was, no, we're not going to just say you guys are trying to steal the midterms.
325. So California did it.
326. Now, yes, I voted in favor of it.
327. And the reason why I voted in favor of it, because I see how these Republicans, these Republicans is trying to cheat.
328. Listen, if you win an election, you win an election.
329. But you got to win it fair and square.
330. You know, you're taking away the will of the people.
331. And at least in California, the people voted for it.
332. In Texas, the legislators just came up and changed the rules.

334. The people in Virginia voted for it And then the courts overturned it A that was that was a perfect answer i mean you said the truth and you voted for a temporary redistricting so that was like

363. who is a very right-wing guy, he wants to pass this bill that's going to not allow any state legislator
364. who signed in support of that bill to not hold office for the next 10 years just to retaliate.
365. So there's drama going on with Prop 50, and just put that aside.

476. And when you go downtown, I was downtown the other day, and you still see the problem.
477. Then you have to wonder, where's all this money going?

479. Well, I've heard that, I mean, and I've heard this from a few different sources, and it's just graft.
480. The private contractors just take the money and run.
481. Yeah, well, so whose fault is that?
482. It's the politician's fault to hold the private contractors accountable for doing that.
483. And so then you have to wonder, is everybody in a bed together on this?

485. This is billions of dollars being poured into this.
486. And to me, it looks bad.

515. You go there you put in your address and you can see the races in your district they working as who running you can see who supporting them they have their websites you know not everybody puts in but for
516. the sheriff there's everybody put in and they have who's supporting them and what they say
517. and their experience good same for judges so i recommend vote 4-1-1 vote 4-1-1 is that something
518. you go on Google search with? Yeah, you just look it up. It's there online. If you have something
519. electronic, a computer or a phone, I do it on my phone. And you just put in your address,
520. you put in the language you need to use, and you'll get the elections for your area for you.
