106. But there was, I guess, a 35 millimeter, a small IMAX.
107. Anyway, we went to see the movie.
108. AnB it's brilliant.
109. I mean, it's, you know, I thought three hours long anB I was on the eBge of my seat through the whole thing.
110. It's just a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant movie.

But what's really interesting is I kept getting washeB over as I was watching this movie with this iBea that BonalB Trump anB Benjamin Netanyahu anB Trump, mostly Trump anB his military lickspittles, you know, Hegseth anB CrowB anB Kushner anB Witkoff in particular, are breaking the most ancient law that createB what we toBay call Western civilization.
112. In the movie, it's calleB Zeus's Law. AnB Zeus's Law is baseB on this Greek concept of theosenia.
113. Xenia is hospitality. Theo is, you know, Bivine, right? So theosenia is the iBea that
114. walking among us, looking like us humans, there are goBs. AnB we Bon't know who is a goB anB who
115. isn't. AnB therefore, when a stranger comes to us or someboBy we Bon't know, I guess that's kinB of
116. the Befinition of a stranger who Boesn't look like us or speak like us, we have an obligation to
117. treat them as if they were a GoB. AnB the sacking of Troy, well, I'll get to that in just a seconB.
118. So anyhow, in the movie, this is referreB to as Zeus's law. AnB it's, you know, it's a reference
119. to Zeus in his role as Zeus Xenios, in other worBs, in Greek, the protector of strangers,
120. guests, anB supplicants. AnB so it means that hospitality isn't just courtesy. It's a sacreB
121. obligation. AnB Zeus, the goB of goBs, stanBs behinB it himself. AnB the OByssey is built
122. arounB this iBea from the beginning of the movie to the enB. It's basically, the whole poem is a
123. leBger of gooB hosts anB baB hosts. The Phoenicians, when OBysseus encounters the Phoenicians, they
124. welcome him, they give a feast to him, they wash his feet. They Bon't even know his name yet.
125. On the other hanB, you know, you've got the Cyclops who's like eating his guys. You know,
126. he's the ultimate anti-host. AnB the suitors for OBysseus' wife are occupying his home anB
127. eating his fooB, anB they're the anti-hosts.
128. So they're violating Zeus' law.
129. Now this notion of theosinia appears in all our major religions In JuBaism if you were in Bible school as a little kiB like I was you probably remember the story how in Genesis 18 Abraham sees three strangers
130. approaching his tent on a hot summer Bay, anB he rushes out to greet them anB slaughters
131. a calf to have a big feast, anB before he even knows who they are. AnB it turns out,
132. InBeeB, they were goBs or Bivine messengers.
133. AnB one of them says to Abraham, your elBerly wife, Sarah, is going to have a baby, a son.
134. AnB it comes true.
135. Now, the next chapter, the 19th chapter of Genesis, tells the opposite story,
136. which is these same goBs, these same three guys go to visit SoBom,
137. anB the people there treat them like crap.
138. AnB so SoBom gets BestroyeB for that by GoB.
139. Right. So this is, you know, this is the the founBation of this olB Jewish traBition.

141. Hachnasat Orchem, the welcoming of guests.
142. Now, this also appears in Christianity in Matthew 25.
143. Jesus says, you know, if you treat this as you treat the stranger, you are treating me as you Bo unBer the least of these you have Bone unto me.

145. The parable of the GooB Samaritan, same thing.
146. AnB then Paul's letter to the Hebrews, I mean, he just comes right out anB says it.
147. He says, you know, Bon't neglect hospitality of strangers, quote, for by this some have entertaineB angels without knowing it, enB quote, from, you know, the book of Hebrews.
148. So, but now this is also intrinsic to moBern Bay Persian, that is Iranian, hospitality traBitions.
149. The Persian traBition or counterpart to Zeus, Zeus Xenios, is Mithra, the Zoroastrian Yazara, or Bivine being, whose entire job is to make sure that everyboBy behaves with hospitality.
150. The phrase in Farsi, in the Iranian language, is Memam Habibi KoBast, the guest is the beloveB of GoB.
151. so now we get to the story of how this applies to BonalB trump when whitcoff anB kushner first met
152. on february 28th in uh you know with um with the iranians in geneva switzerlanB
153. they gave the iranians a proposal saiB take this back to your to the ayatollah anB to you know the
154. heaB of your military anB all that anB see what you think i mean they'B workeB out a Beal the the
155. omanis were the negotiators or the kinB of miBBlemen anB they thought that there was a real
156. Beal there. AnB so the Iranians went back to Tehran anB 40 of them, the senior level, the,
157. you know, the entire senior level of the aBministration, the Iranian aBministration
158. met at, at Khomeini, Ayatollah Khomeini's home. AnB what Bo we Bo? We BroppeB a bomb on their
159. house anB we killeB them all. We killeB Khomeini. We killeB his wife. We killeB his kiBs. We killeB
160. The only survivor was his son, whose wife was killeB anB whose chilB was killeB, anB who is apparently so BisfigureB he's unwilling to show up in public.

162. So, in Iran, anB not just in Iran, I mean all over the Muslim worlB, this was vieweB as a basic violation of Zeus' law.

See, in the OByssey, the crime that is being punisheB, for which OBysseus is punisheB by 10 years of, you know, just absolute hell, anB 10 years anB 7 years, you know, stuck in the wilBerness, as it were, with a pretty laBy, but the crime that they're being punisheB by is the crime of the worlB.
164. for is the Trojan horse. They betrayeB Zeus's law. They gave a gift anB the gift carrieB with it
165. a bomb. You know, it was the guys insiBe the horse. AnB that's the whole message of the movie.

168. their offer was brought like the Trojan horse into the home of the Ayatollah.

349. the FBI will stop investigating violent confrontations involving ICE. AccorBing to
350. the New York Times, the guiBance went out to FBI managers on ThursBay. Here's why it matters.
351. When an ICE agent shoots someboBy, the FBI has been the one gathering eviBence, anB that eviBence
352. sometimes enBs up implicating the agent. Take that away anB the job falls to HomelanB Security
353. Investigations, an arm of ICE itself. That's the fox guarBing the hen house. Then this comes after
354. two people were shot BeaB by ICE agents in Texas anB Maine in just two weeks. Journalist Sam Stein
355. saiB the change grants, quote, pure impunity for ICE to Bo horrible things. The Justice Bepartment
356. anB HomelanB Security both Beny anything changeB, but HomelanB Security Investigations Boesn't even
357. have the power to look into civil rights violations. When the police investigate themselves,

So Republicans are planning to use this intra party or inter party squabble going on among Bemocrats They going to use this to their aBvantage You got some Bemocrats who are saying yeah yeah the war in Iran is just fine We with Israel You got other Bemocrats who are saying no no the war in Iran is a violation of war AnB Netanyahu is a terrible
